"The place that's going to be the place to be."

This is the bold announcement on a huge billboard outside a building site in Edinburgh. The impact has been impressive. Not only do the people of the area know what is written on the sign, but many are signing up to live in the area before even one brick had been laid!!!

For the congregation of Wellington Street the new site at the Sourhill is "the place that's going to be the place to be". A PLACE from which God wants us to serve Him, a PLACE to reach into the community around us and a PLACE to which we can invite others so they can hear of Christ and come to know Him as their Lord and Saviour.

When King David asked God this question in 2 Samuel verse 2:
"Shall I move........?"
God's response was definite:
"Yes, move".

Over the last three years we have been asking the Lord that same question.
His response, coming clearly through the congregation, has been, "Yes, move".
The door of opportunity is open and many are 'signing-up' to the realisation that,

"Tomorrow's Church is Today's Challenge".

We encourage all our members to be part of what the Lord is asking us to do for Him.
