Andrew Dickson spent a month in summer 2007 with
Faith mission Camp Canada. "The children that I encountered were the
most broken that I have ever met. Most had alcohol and drug
problems; many had been abused. They were scared of their parents,
some were scared of other campers. We did not judge them for their
problems but accepted them as Jesus does. Through the activities we
built up friendships and broke down barriers - we simply provided
love." |
